Now is the time to take Utah County out of obscurity and into the lead. Join me as I fight for the priorities of Utah County residents in a way that preserves conservative principles and protects economic prosperity.

I’ve spent my life tackling challenges with authenticity, blazing my own trail at every turn. After nearly two full terms as Eagle Mountain Mayor and years of public service on the City Council, I have the experience and proven track record to lead Utah County into the future with boldness. I decided to take the leap in 2013 and run for Eagle Mountain City Council. I fostered a great, cooperative relationship with Mayor Pengra, who eventually stepped down and personally asked me to consider a run for his seat. After a hard-fought campaign, I was first elected in 2018—and I’m only the second mayor in the history of Eagle Mountain to complete a full term. Today, I’m serving a second term after receiving strong support from residents. 

I’m proud of the many things we’ve accomplished together in Eagle Mountain, including our ability to successfully cultivate a strong economy despite the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic and record inflation. I helped negotiate and close contracts with Fortune 100 companies like Facebook, Tyson, and Google. Plus, we’ve been able to bolster our infrastructure with nearly $150 million in investments in roads, water, sewer, and power. 

I’ve always viewed my role as Mayor with a CEO mentality. Running a city is much like running a business—but with a different type of currency. Instead of money, it’s our quality of life that’s on the table. I’m always searching for ways to bring people together and get things done.

Utah County is the fastest-growing county in the state, which underscores the need for a commissioner with an unmistakable leadership presence—someone who is ready and willing to do things worth talking about. I don’t aspire to climb the political ladder; I’m running for Utah County Commissioner to address pressing issues in a way that preserves the values-based culture we all know and love.
